Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the Workplace


"ECL is committed to providing a safe, secure, and inclusive work environment for all employees. In line with this commitment, ECL complies with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013, commonly known as the POSH Act, 2013. This legislation aims to prevent and protect women from sexual harassment at the workplace and ensure effective redressal of complaints.

As mandated under Section 4 of the POSH Act, 2013, ECL has duly constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and appointed a nodal officer at each Area/Establishment. The ICC is empowered to address and resolve complaints of sexual harassment in a fair and timely manner, ensuring confidentiality and sensitivity throughout the process."
