BRIEF PROFILE OF Dr. CHETNA SHUKLA

Dr. Chetna Shukla (45 years) has been appointed as Part-Time Official Director on the Board of Eastern Coalfields Limited w.e.f. 25.07.2025.

Dr. Shukla, Deputy Director General, Ministry of Coal, Government of India is a Post Graduate with M.Sc. (Statistics) and also holds a Doctorate Degree in Statistics. She is an officer of Indian Statistical Services (ISS) of 2004 batch. She joined as Deputy Director General, Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India w.e.f. July, 2025. Prior to that she served in Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) as Deputy Director General from 2021 2025. She has experience of over 21 years.
